Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Operations for a Global Supply Chain Services company at a brand new facility located in central Pennsylvania (near Harrisburg.)  This position reports directly to the VP.  The Director of Operations will need to be self-driven, as they will play a major role in this 1-million square-foot start-up facility, handling the logistics and product distribution for a well-know, highly prestigious Global Technology Company.  Prior experience in the Technology Sector is a must for working with this particular client.  The Director will be responsible for delivering customer and internal SLA's within budget, and lead Operational, Quality, Inventory, Engineering and supporting teams.  Must have a proven track record with large-scale, omni-channel (retail, e-commerce, warranty) operations in the area of 40,000 items a day or more.  Reverse Logistics experience is also must.  Staff leadership experience is essential, along with the demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Description:
Works with, manages and ensures the Distribution Centers management team are accountable to:
- Ensure the appropriate resources are assigned to the account; all services provided meet or exceed established customer SLA and internal metrics.
- Maintain a favorable P&L associated with the customer program within the Distribution Center ensuring all contracted activities are billed and any out of scope work is captured and billed.
- Achieve the planned earnings, growth and expansion of business within the Distribution Center.
- Works with key decision makers of designated account(s) and internal solutions team to set mutually beneficial annual goals and strategize to increase utilization of all services and programs, meet/exceed budget goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree, related field;  Masters Degree preferred.
- Must have a proven track record in large-scale, Omni-Channel (retail, e-commerce, etc.) operations in the area of 40,000 items a day or more.
- Minimum 5-10 years experience at a General Manager level or above is required, including on-line fulfillment, preferably in outsourced Supply Chain Operations.
- Experience with eCommerce,
B2b, B2C, logistics, 3PL and Reverse Logistics – all required
- Must have experience working in the Technology sector.
- Personnel Management / Leadership experience -- managing 300-400 or more people would be ideal.
- SAP experience, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience would be critical.
